eventpowwow – event delegate comms platform

Overview

A proprietary platform built for Works Digital clients, eventpowwow is the first event app to combine a responsive website and native apps for iOS and Android, managed from a single CMS. It is used by a range of customers who find it the quickest, easiest, best value way to deliver all the info their event delegates need – online and offline.

Challenges

In the events marketplace there was a lack of easy and intuitive app/web combination tools. The challenge was to create a dual environment, single CMS solution to deliver client managed event information. The app also had to work offline to accommodate venues with poor Wi-Fi and for delegates to plan their trip whilst on a train or plane pre-event.

Solution

Works Digital built a core CMS that was the source of real-time information being pushed into a fully responsive microsite and fully native iOS and Android apps for a seamless experience. Clients could create their own custom events and delegates could register, view agendas, create personal agenda, view speakers and plan their day along with note taking during the event and many other features. eventpowwow is a self-managed SaaS solution.

eventpowwow streamlined the events creation process for many clients with quick, bespoke content.
