SBJBC hybrid event

Overview

The UK/Saudi Sustainable Investment Forum 13 July 2021 and 2022, a hybrid event, was a partnership between The Saudi British Joint Business Council (SBJBC), The City of London Corporation and the Federation of Saudi Chambers.

Challenges

The COVID pandemic made in-person events unreliable at the best of times with another lockdown possible at any time. Planning collaboration between potential at event live streaming with a hybrid online solution.

Solution

Works Digital created the event within our OpenDoor platform. This provided event registration, overview, agenda and speaker information. We provided live RTMP connectivity to the event as in person was allowed at Mansion House, London. This then gave SBJBC a global audience for the event, many of whom were still in Saudi. Full broadcast engagement analytics were provided post event.

Impact

Great success in 2021 and repeated in 2022. “We have worked with Works Digital twice now on the website for this annual forum and will continue to do so. The website received a lot of compliments from participants and other organisations who produce similar events. We have recommended you to our partners.” Cordelia Begbie | Head of Operations at SBJBC
